On Tuesday 7 March, Junior pupils from Braeside and Normanhurst were fortunate enough to meet the much loved children’s author Jeremy Strong. During their sessions with him, Jeremy explained how he became an author, where he most enjoyed writing and what had inspired some of his stories. He also showed the children some of his favourite gifts that his fans had sent him (including a carrot in a skirt!).
At the end of the sessions, children who had brought one of Jeremy Strong’s books with them were able to have copies signed by the author himself! It was an entertaining and inspiring day which will not soon be forgotten!
