Reception Class went for a walk to Knighton Wood, the local forest. We were comparing our forest to a rainforest as part of our topic work. We visited the pond and saw a mother duck with her babies.
As we walked through the forest we saw squirrels climbing the trees and heard different birds singing. We finished our walk at the swing park where we enjoyed an ice lolly treat before climbing the hill back up to school.
