House Drama Competition 2017

We had a fantastic night on Friday for the annual House Drama competition at Lopping Hall in Loughton. Families gathered into a packed hall to see the fruits of the Senior pupils’ labour for the past few weeks. Bronte performed an abridged version of ‘Mary Poppins’, Fry performed ‘The Sword in the Stone’, Mason performed ‘Sorry Wrong Number’ and to end the evening Nightingale performed ‘Hound of the Baskervilles’. All pieces were very well acted, with some of the pupils having a huge amount of lines to recite. The pupils were confident and professional and the staff were very proud of them all!

The judges were Mr Reich-Storer and Mrs Kazim, and after a short interval they announced that the winners were as follows:

Most Promising Actress: Zoe Zacaria
Runner-Up (Best Actress): Isobel Wells and Mahnoor Azfar
Best Actress: Amaarah Afzal
House Winners: Bronte House

Well done to Bronte House, all of our winners and everyone else who took part- you were fantastic!
