Junior Trip to Southend-on-Sea

On Monday 9 July Reception to Year 5 visited Southend-on-Sea. The children spent time at the Aquarium, learning about fish and other animals that live in the sea. They all got to touch a starfish. They learnt about marine conservation and how we can all play a part in protecting our oceans.

Everyone then walked along the promenade to the pier train. It was very exciting to ride the train which went over the sea! When they arrived back at shore on the train everyone sat on the beach and had an ice lolly.

The teachers were all impressed with the children’s brilliant behaviour.
