Every child is unique and when girls join our Early Years department they bring with them a variety of skills and talents which they have developed at home with their families or in pre-school educational settings.

They will feel confident and comfortable about some things but will invariably feel more hesitant about being encouraged to develop and enjoy other skills.

We have the opportunity, with our modest class sizes, to give time to each of our pupils and assess and support their individual needs.

We always remember that within any year group some pupils may have birthdays early in the Autumn term and that some pupils have Summer birthdays which, at this stage in the educational process, can have a significant effect on their readiness to cope with a range of fresh challenges.

All of the work that we do helps to build their confidence and add appropriate challenge at the right time to their experiences. Their smiling faces throughout the school day and huge pride when they achieve a new skill is the reward that our experienced team of teachers are committed to achieve.

We build a strong relationship with all of our families and give Parents advice and information on a regular basis.

Braeside gives each of its pupils the security care and continuity in any ever changing world that can be relied upon.
