Holiday Clubs

All clubs are available to all pupils from the four schools in the Oak-Tree Group.

The clubs that are provided during the holidays are determined by staff and site availability, therefore we are unable to provide a set holiday club timetable.* As soon as the clubs that are taking place during the holidays have been finalised, a letter and booking form will be sent out with dates and locations. This normally occurs during the term leading up to the holiday.

Multi-Sports Club

Steve Grenfell runs a sports club and holiday activity sessions supported by a team of qualified coaches who know our children. The activities include short-tennis, rounders, basketball, hockey, football and cricket.

The days will concentrate on improving general skills and there will be many small-sided matches and tournaments with prizes awarded at the end of the week.

The club runs throughout the Summer Holiday with the addition of Easter, Christmas and half terms whenever possible.

Early Years Sessions

Available for pupils from Lower Kindergarten to Transition (Reception) during the Summer Holiday.

The club is run by a team of qualified key workers from each school, all of whom are used to working with Early Years children in their own settings within the appropriate ratios of staff to children.

The days will be planned according to the EYFS Curriculum and activities will include arts and crafts, messy play, outside play, science and cooking, story-telling and much more.

Drama Workshop

Drama Workshop takes place during the Summer Holiday. The days will concentrate on learning various drama techniques, improvisations, plays and drama games culminating in a showcase on the final afternoon.

Activities Week

Activities week takes place during the Summer Holidays. There will be a variety of fun practical inside activities including, arts and crafts, board games, baking, cake decorating, language games and IT. Outside activities include nature walks and games.

* No clubs run during the February half term.
