Year 10 have begun to read ‘Pride and Prejudice’ by Jane Austen. This was their choice of 19th Century novel and they are enjoying entering Austen’s world and learning about Lizzy Bennet and Fitzwilliam Darcy. In March the class will be visiting Chawton to see Jane Austen’s house, something which everyone is very much looking forward to.
