Year 11 had their final Leavers Assembly this morning. Izellah had made a video with a collection of songs and pictures from their time at school. Mrs Moon gave them a speech about this period of time being one of purpose and also the springboard into a new chapter.
Year 11 were given their leavers certificates – some pupils have been attending Braeside since Kindergarten! The staff also gave pupils a Little Miss award and book. Ms Coleman made Year 11 a piece of personalised art work as a keepsake. Pupils in Year 11 also awarded the staff with their own special awards. Once pupils had wished them well in assembly, Year 6 rang the bells whilst the rest of the school formed an arch to say farewell.
Miss Barrett, Mrs Moon and Ms Coleman took Year 11 for brunch in Molen’s Brasserie courtesy of FOBS. We had a lovely farewell and we wish our Year 11 pupils the very best of luck in their GCSE exams!
