Braeside’s year 7 & 8 netball team beat Roding Valley 11-8! They played brilliantly as a team! Gemma was player of the match.

Year 7 are doing very well learning the Ukulele in music, they’re all currently practicing Christmas songs!

Year 8 went to the London Cineworld for the 2024 Into Film Festival this week. Year 8 watched a scientific documentary about the threat of asteroids to the planet. Our U13 and U16 netball teams were victorious against King Harold School! The U13s won 6-5 and Gracie was player of the match. The U16s won 21-5 and Izellah was player of the match! Well done girls- two brilliant games of netball!

Year 3 and 4 went to the Natural History Museum on Friday 11th October to join in with a volcano workshop. They learned about how volcanoes and earthquakes occur through the movement of tectonic plates. After the workshop they explored the Earthquake and Volcano gallery and reflected on their learning.

Our Kindergarten children have been busy expressing their creativity and love through a special activity—drawing pictures of their families! Using whiteboards and pens, they independently created adorable portraits, showcasing not only their growing artistic skills but also their deep connections with their loved ones.

Year 6 have worked really hard to produce these lovely Christmas cards for the annual Christmas Card Competition. Using oil pastels has enabled students to achieve both vibrancy and super mixing and blending techniques. A big well done!

Years 7, 8 and 9 investigated female black mathematicians in honour of Black History Month and made posters to celebrate the achievements of these amazing women.
