Peripatetic Mini-Concert

On Tuesday our Senior pupils who take instrumental lessons put on a fantastic performance in the School Hall. The audience consisted of parents and fellow musicians.

Performers from year 6 to year 10 demonstrated their skills on piano, violin and singing.  Some were able to use the performance as a “dry run” for up-coming external music examinations while others played favourite pieces they had studied last term. For others this was the first time they had ever performed in front of an audience but their practice gave them the confidence to perform with panache!  Everyone should be very proud of their contribution – well done!

Before and after the concert parents were able to talk with the peripatetic teachers about their daughters’ progress.  This was a good occasion for them all to meet and ascertain any agreed plans regarding examinations and summer courses.
