On Tuesday 7 June Year 9 went to the Imperial War Museum to visit the new First World War galleries. This visit was to support the topic of WWI, life in the trenches and the home front, studied at Key Stage 3. After visiting the WWI galleries they were able to see an exciting exhibition on The Secret War. This included many gadgets and designs reminding them of James Bond! They also learned about the formation of MI5 and MI6 and their role in keeping the United Kingdom safe. All agreed, an informative day all round!
