This term Kindergarten have been looking at different kinds of animals and their habitats.
They had a fantastic day out when they visited Barleylands Farm where they made gingerbread and fed lots of animals including goats, sheep, chickens and long eared rabbits. Milked a pretend cow with udders and took a ride on a tractor. Once returning to school they made their own display to replicate what they had seen.
Last week the children learnt about the animals that live in the ocean. They looked at different types of shells and made a hermit crab using coloured sand, an inky jelly fish, painted rainbow fish and made a 3D scary shark and a big blue whale.
