Senior pupils celebrated diversity on European Day of Languages this year. Pupils were asked to write a card in the language that they speak at home, which have now been turned into a great display. All in all, the Braeside community speaks 15 different languages.
Pupils have also been very busy preparing entries for a national competition. They had to write in a language other than English on the topic of ‘I have a dream’. There were some inspirational entries in Spanish, French, Togalog, Tamil, Persian, Russian and German, which have now been sent off! We are looking forward to hearing the judges’ choice in December! Well done to everyone who took part!
