Year 5 have a very exciting topic coming up in the next few weeks, they are going to be learning all about chocolate! The topic will have both a historic and geographical focus with the children learning about the discovery of chocolate, the importance of the cocoa bean for trade, where cocoa beans are found and factors that will affect their growth.
As an entry point into the topic, Lily and Elizabeth worked hard creating cups in the style of the Aztecs ready for drinking ‘Chocolatl’.
