For the woodlice investigation we started off by entering the Braeside garden and collected some woodlice. We found the woodlice in both dark and wet places. Some were found climbing up trees. We placed the woodlice into a cup and took them back to the lab. We wanted to investigate which conditions woodlice like to live in.
We put some soil in a tray and on the other side we put some damp tissue, we left the middle as the dry area. We put the woodlice into this tray and watched the woodlice find their favourite places to live in. Most of them went to the damp dark soil, a few went to the wet tissue. After the investigation we collected all the woodlice and returned them to the garden.
