Over the last few weeks both Junior and Senior pupils have been collecting items to put in shoe boxes for the Samaritan’s Purse Appeal. The pupils were inspired to take part after an assembly in which they learnt all about the project and how we could bring a little bit of joy to another child’s life. Consequently, on Friday 18 November we were able to deliver 96 shoe boxes to the Samaritans collection centre in Buckhurst Hill! A number we were very proud of. The volunteers at the centre were very grateful for our help and presented us with a certificate for our efforts. A special thanks to all families who took part this year for their generosity and kindness.
