The Early Years children spent a very enjoyable morning at a workshop with a team from Paradise Wildlife Park. The pupils learnt some interesting facts about reptiles and were able to touch and see some up close, including a tortoise and a cockroach. They were also able to touch various animal related artefacts such as fossils and mammoth’s teeth. The pupils dressed up in masks to re-enact how dinosaurs were wiped out by a meteor. Finally they learnt about the importance of animal conservation and saving the rainforest.
