Year 11 go on Study Leave today as some of them have their first GCSE exams! They have been preparing for the forthcoming GCSEs with maturity and diligence. To celebrate their time at Braseide they enjoyed an extended assembly last week in which they got spoof awards from the teachers, received some personalised presents, were given some words of encouragement and gave awards to the teachers. It was a great opportunity to reflected with fondness their time at school.
They also were allowed to sign each others shirts and have a final pizza lunch. Mr Shields – our onsite chef – created their favourite chocolate cake. Pupils then changed for their final PE lesson which was frisbee golf at the Lee Valley Centre. It was a lovely day, but wasn’t without a few tears!
