Year 5 have been learning about the working conditions for children in the Victorian times. They learnt about how bad the conditions were and decided to protest about them. They made banners and chanted all the way to the Houses of Parliament (the back of the school) where they met the Prime Minister (Mrs Copeman), who, due to their protests, enforced new legislation!
