Delving into Natural History

Year 3 had a fantastic trip to the Natural History Museum recently where they were able to explore a range of prehistoric giants. The children got to see what dinosaurs looked like, how they lived and just how big they grew. The pupils saw dinosaurs from the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous period and we read many theories of how they became extinct. The children also got a fright when seeing the roaring T-Rex. In our spare time, Year 3 also got to experience the 6 meter model of the moon by UK artist Luke Jerram, explore the fossil marine reptiles, the minerals and the galleries top treasures. They travelled on the train beautifully and represented the school very well.
