Year 5 have been enjoying their recent lessons very much. One lesson involved creating some tasty treats and then, using their writing skills, wrote detailed instructions for other people to follow.
They have also been reading The Adventures of Odysseus which is an adapted version of Homer’s Odyssey. They dramatised some of the scenes where Odysseus returns home and fights the suitors, who have been trying to persuade his wife, Penelope, to marry them. The pupils are really enjoying the book and can’t wait to see how it ends!
