The Early Years children got together on the last Friday of half term for a Teddy Bears Picnic. As it was raining outside we had to have an indoor picnic but this didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits. Everyone had a great time listening to some teddy bear stories and singing along to the Teddy Bears Picnic song.
After dancing to the Hokey Cokey the pupils all had fun playing ‘Sleeping Bears’ and ‘What’s the time Mister Bear?’. They then all sat down to eat some delicious picnic food with everyone particularly enjoying the bear-shaped biscuits that the Reception children had made. What a lovely way to get ready for the half term holiday!
