“The bake sale was an excellent success, we raised £87.03 for the British Heart Foundation. We chose the British Heart Foundation because some of us know people who have suffered from heart problems. We spent the first few weeks back at school organising; price lists, float money and what sweet treats to sell. After three weeks we had everything planned; we had the date and the time and most importantly the treats. It was great to work as part of a team and it was a really important experience of what we needed to do in order to organise a successful event. We sold; cookies, brownies, cakes, donuts, gingerbread men and flap jacks. It was a great accomplishment and lots of fun.”
