Jeans for Genes Day

Braeside held its first charity event as one whole school today. Every year, pupils have elected to support the charity that research the function and mutation of genes. The day is called ‘Jeans for Genes’ and pupils and staff can wear denim items whilst making a donation to the charity. Pupils marked the day by wearing jeans, dungarees, jackets and shorts made from denim. The ‘double denim’ look was also sported by staff and pupils this year. Well done to the charity committee who were responsible for collecting the money.
