During Lockdown the children took part in a whole school ‘Covid Music Project’. They wrote their own music and songs about how they felt in ‘Lockdown’. They explored how to use the rhythm of words using topical vocabulary and produced patterns and music to share with everyone.
The Junior children also coloured musical instruments to create a ‘Musical Thank You NHS’ display at school.
Mrs Lloyd-Morris wrote a ‘Braeside Covid Song’ which all the children learnt during the first lockdown, when they were learning from home. During our Harvest celebrations, Junior pupils done a fantastic job of performing this song!
