On Monday afternoon we held Sports Day at the very impressive Lee Valley Athletics Centre. This year was extra special as we could finally welcome the family and friends back in to cheers the pupils along after a year of social distancing. For weeks pupils have been training for the the event, and were all very excited to get started. Every single pupil got into the spirit of Sports Day, supporting their classmates when they weren’t taking part, and giving the races and events their all.
For the Seniors, events included several relays and track events such as the 100m, 200m, 400m and 800m. The Juniors took part in over and under races, sprints, egg and spoon and even sack races.
The competition was tight but Nightingale came out on top. Congratulations!
