Year 9 designed a new celebration of cricket at Braeside this year.
Cricket was played in House Bubbles in the morning by the Senior pupils on the London Corporation Ground next to the site. Pupils played incredible House games with some superb fielding, bowling and batting from all pupils.
We then headed back to the school grounds where the whole school (in Bubbles) ate ‘fakeaway’ pizza and ice lollies served by Year 11 pupils and made by the Chartwell’s team.
Play resumed after lunch on the cricket ground with Kindergarten and Juniors playing for the afternoon. Well done to Year 9 in helping with the idea and the equipment! It was a lovely way to end the term.
