As an introduction to Year 4’s Science topic this term, pupils went for a Sound Walk around the school. They had to decide on the volume of the sound and scale it from 1-5. The Music Studio proved to be by far the loudest!
Banging the drum which was covered in rice proved to be a good way to demonstrate how vibrations make sound. It was a great lesson, although a very noisy one!
