Year 4 are exploring the art of botanical artist Marianne North. Marianne North was an inspirational Victorian artist who travelled the world. Pupils used magnifying glasses to look at the great detail of Marianne’s beautiful paintings. The class thought carefully about the connection between art and science and really enjoyed their experimental work.
