The Year 10 Drama students from Braeside and Normanhurst enjoyed an immersive workshop led by former actors from Blood Brothers. Engaging with the musical’s storyline and characters, they created their own scene and learned the nuances of a Liverpudlian accent, bringing a chorus scene to life.
The workshop, including a monologue performed by one of the actors, not only enhanced their practical skills but also deepened their comprehension of Blood Brothers as a GCSE text. This hands-on experience, connecting theory with application, provided a valuable insight into the world of theatre.
