Our U9, U10 and U11 football teams took part in the Oak-Tree girls football tournament at Shooters and the sun was shining! The students worked so hard all morning and it was great to see them working so brilliantly in their teams. The U11s came a close second and Caitlin was Player of the Tournament for scoring some fantastic goals. The U10s also came second! Summer-Rose was Player of the Tournament for making some outstanding saves. The U9s came fourth and Ruby was Player of the Tournament for a great goal and for working tirelessly. Well done everyone!
The Year 6 students were able to wear our new Braeside football kit. The Premier League, in collaboration with Nike, has provided over 4,000 sets of football kit to schools with a girls’ team. Delivered via the Premier League Primary Stars programme, the Scheme looks to encourage more young girls across England and Wales to participate in football.
