Year 9, 10 and 11 students at Braeside achieved Silver and Bronze certificates in this year’s UKMT Intermediate Maths Challenge held on Wednesday 31 January 2024.
Pupils undertook a 60-minute, 25 question multiple choice Challenge that encourages mathematical reasoning and requires precision of thought.
Nadezhda in Year 11 was awarded a Silver certificate and Best in School certificate, Maya in Year 9 achieved a Bronze and Best in Year certificate.
Iman and Aina in Year 11, and Fatima in Year 9 were also awarded a Bronze certificate.
Riana and Sienna in Year 9, and Zaynab and Sareen Year 10 all achieved a ‘Certificate of Participation’.
