Four Year 11 pupils have signed up to take part in the National Citizen Service programme which starts after their public exams. It is a voluntary programme that involves meeting other young people and planning a community based project over the summer months before they embark on their sixth form studies. Pupils have to apply for the service and organise a project that benefits the local community. They also take part in a residential week where they will be doing physically and mentally challenging tasks as part of team building and developing skills for post 16. We wish them the best of luck and hope they will come back to tell us all about their adventure.
