Mexican Dance Workshop

On 7 November, Years 7 and 8 had a Mexican dance workshop. Sophia and Isabel, the amazing dancers taught us how to Mexican dance. It was fascinating and fun. We danced to ‘Jarabe Tapatio’ which is danced with a sombrero and was traditionally a courting dance between a man and a woman. We also made marigold flower crowns to dance with. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend to anyone who wants to learn about Mexican culture.
