Year 1 have been learning all about Judaism in their RE lessons. The children are enjoying finding out about the traditions and values that other religions hold.
To further their learning, the class got the opportunity to enjoy some Challah bread that was made by Mrs Celentano. This is a very special bread in Jewish cuisine, and is typically eaten on ceremonial occasions such as Sabbath and major Jewish holidays. Everyone found the bread very tasty and are looking forward to learning about other religions in their RE lessons.
